The principles we use to execute on Soren's mission.
This charter reflects how we've built since day one, shaped by the field — site managers, works supervisors, buyers, suppliers — and refined with the team. The road will be long, but it guides every decision we make.
Soren's mission is to give time and control back to the people who build. We want to become the infrastructure of field procurement — the layer where purchases are decided, placed and settled, wherever there is a job site. To that end, we commit to the following principles:
The field comes first
Every product decision starts from the reality of the job site, not a meeting room. We design for people wearing a hard hat and juggling ten emergencies at once — not for ideal users in a slide deck.
We measure our success by the time given back to operational teams and the control they regain — not by the number of features shipped.
One thread, one truth
The request, the order, the delivery, the invoice: everything stays attached, in one place. When information stops getting lost, discrepancies get explained, disputes get settled, and trust returns between the site, procurement and finance.
AI at Soren serves the job site — never the other way around. An assistant you talk to naturally, that acts on reliable data and always shows where what it says comes from.
Product craft
Construction deserves tools on par with the best consumer products. To be adopted on a job site, a tool must be instant, robust and obvious — that's a high bar, and we hold ourselves to it.
We prefer few things, done extremely well. Every screen, every flow has to earn its place by genuinely simplifying someone's day.
Building with the ecosystem
Buyers, suppliers, rental companies, merchants: procurement is a team sport. We build with the ecosystem, not against it — a standard only emerges if it benefits everyone who keeps it alive.
We commit to being a loyal partner: our customers' data belongs to them, and the value we create must be shared across the whole chain.
